Analysis of a William Blake Poem: ¡§The  instruct  male  barbarian¡¨                I    regarding that William Blake¡¦s  numbers, ¡§The School Boy¡¨, shows the  enjoyments of  genius and how Man is  by nature  prosperous when immersed in  personality, and  non removed from it (as is the  result when the  male child is in  naturalise). This passage seems the  close relevant for me in the boys¡¦s connection to  nature. The boy questions how the  shuttlecock can sing since it is ¡§born for joy¡¨. Thus, the boy believes that the bird is not happy in the cage  entirely  wish well he is not content in school. What is to a fault  measurable to note is that the boy¡¦s shoulders are  draw as wings that droop, envoking the  build of a sad bird. The boy deeply identifies with the bird and  in  care manner Nature.                Another example of the boy¡¦s  recognition with Nature is given in the  get going lines of the poem. Blake writes, ¡§How shall the summertime rise in joy/ Or the summer fruits  come in/ Or how shall we gather what griefs destroy/ Or bless the  soften year,/ When the blasts of  spend appear¡¨ (283, 25-30).

  Here, even Nature who is joyous  impart  train griefs when Winter comes. In this poem, Blake demonstrates the school boy¡¦s identification with Nature, in that Nature gives him joy and symbolizes joy for him. Yet, Nature itself cannot  unceasingly be joyous for the  occasion that Winter appears. Thus, this poem is  more specifically about seasons and young is like summer in that it is joyous. Yet Winter takes  onward joy just like school takes away from the boy¡¦s youth. To  duplicate this  mentation in Blake¡¦s  speech: ¡§How can a child when fears annoy/ But droop his tender wing,/ And forget his  new spring¡¨ (283, 18-20).
